If you’re heading to Burnham-on-Sea this summer, there are so many fun attractions and activities to take the kids round! Whether you’re a first time visitor or a frequent guest, read our blog for all the highlights.

The Pier

You can’t go to Burnham-on-Sea without going to the pier! The epitome of a seaside town, the pier has it all; arcade games, trampolines and all round family entertainment. There’s a small café too so you can stop off for a bite to eat while you’re there.

Burnham Main Beach

There are several beaches in Burnham-on-Sea but our favourite is the main one! Just steps away from the Pier, you can make a whole day of playing in the sand and splashing in the sea. This award-winning beach is also home to donkey rides and various entertainment activities for everyone to get involved.

Brean Down Bird Garden

If your children are animal lovers, take them to the little tropical bird garden. Right next to the National Trust park, it’s filled with parakeets, parrots, budgies, love birds, finches as well as a few rare breeds.

Animal Farm Adventure Park

If the Bird Garden wasn’t enough, visit the Animal Farm Adventure Park. Here, the littles ones can get involved with the petting zoo and get a closer look at their favourite farmyard animals. Full of farm fun, there’s a tractor ride, safari train and boat ride for the whole family to enjoy. Don’t worry if the weather isn’t too good because there’s lots of indoor fun too. There’s even a ‘Kid’s Fest’ going on this year, on August 13th and 14th.

If you’re taking the kids to Burnham-on-Sea, there’s loads of other fun activities going on at HRU. Our campsite in Brean has a swimming pool, golf course, theme park and more!  Don’t miss out on all the fun, find out more by calling us on 01278 751 235 or fill in our contact form.
