Do you take single sex parties?
No, Holiday Resort Unity is a family site and only accepts parties of family orientation.
Do you take groups of youngsters?
The minimum age is 25 and must be of mixed gender.
What is your policy on makes of tourers accepted on site?
We do not accept LMC, Hobby, Tabbert, Ronaand Weippart
What is the maximum duration you may stay on site?
28 days, if on a grass pitch you must change pitches after a duration of 14 days.
Can we use our loyalty card on special offers/how many times may we use it/how long is it valid for?
Loyalty cards are invalid for special offers, you may use the Loyalty Card on standard bookings as many times as you like as it is valid for the whole of the current season.
What is the minimum numbers of nights we may book in advance?
2 except for bank holidays which is a minimum of 3.
I wish to book with another party and have pitches together, can you guarantee this?
This cannot be guaranteed as pitch numbers are not allocated on booking, but we can, if sufficient space, put you on the same field and inform the warden in advance that you require pitches together. In all cases you should inform the warden of your requirements on arrival.
Can I book in advance and pay cash on arrival?
No, payments must be made with a valid credit/debit or switch card by telephone or cheque/postal order for postal bookings . you can also book and pay online with a valid/credit debit card.
Can I use my commercial vehicle to tow the tourer?
Commercial vehicles are not allowed on the site without permission from the Director and may be refused on arrival.
What does the cancellation plan cover?
Illness with accompanying Doctors Certificate, Family Grievance, Jury Service etc. We do not give refunds for poor weather conditions, car breakdown etc! Full explanation in the holiday information.
What do I get with my Privilege Card?
Free entertainment in a choice of venues, Free shower/toilet facilities, Free swimming session per day, Free Fishing, Half Price Green Fees on our 18 Hole Meadowlands Golf Course, discount on Fun Park tokens/wristbands.
If I pay a deposit now when do I have to pay the balance?
42 days before arrival, if you book within 42 days of your arrival date you must pay in full at time of booking.
How large are the pitches?
The average size is 36 feet by 30 feet, some may be smaller.
Can I put my awning up on a hardstanding pitch?
You may, awnings are free to erect and can be erected on grass/grass grids adjacent to the pitch. Please be aware that on some of our hardstanding pitches you may need to be prepared to erect your awning on concrete, we suggest bungee strapping the awning down.
What services do you get with the pitches i.e. water/drainage hook-up?
On most pitches there is a water tap between 2 pitches, elson points are provide on each of the fields and Green Field has a driver-over elson for motorhomes. Some hardstadning pitches may have a shared drain.
What's the difference between a hardstanding and super pitch?
The Super pitch has it's own water, drainage hook-up as well as electric.
What ampage is the electric hook-up and what connectors do I need?
16 amp EEC-3pin socket (max 10 amps).
Can I have electric hook up to my tent?
You can, you will need an EEC-3 pin socket on one end of the cable and a multi plug suitable for normal household appliances on the other end of the cable.
What is the earliest/latest time I may arrive/depart?
Check-in from 10am and depart by midday. We can usually allow you to arrive and be pitched up until 8pm, although it is usually best to advise us in advance if you expect to be arriving late.
What time does the late departure cover me until/can this be booked throughout the year?
4pm and may be booked during low and mid season.
Is there toilet and shower facilities on each field?
Yes on all fields.
Do I have to pay to park on the Leisure Park?
Yes, we advise using the public walkways to gain access to the Leisure Park.
What type of pitches are on each field?
Yellow has all types, Green has hardstandings and grass electrics and Brown has grass electrics and Standard pitches. |
