Four Stars Awarded Again in 2009

Summary

Under the VisitBritain Quality Assurance Standards for Holiday Villages, Holiday Resort Unity achieves a FOUR star rating.  At the time of this years assessment, this very large Holiday Village again displayed the highest  standards of cleanliness in all areas. The housekeeping team working on the accommodation and the grounds litter collection team should be particularly commended.  The Park continues to show improvements year on year and this years work has resulted in a consolidation of the marking in the existing FOUR star grade.

Areas Assessed: average rating was 80%
Reception - Main reception of a very good size and with a well organised queuing system.
Shops / Salons - Excellent layout in Cost cutter Store,
Atmosphere and Ambience - the size of site, and the high level of occupancy, the standard of cleanliness was a credit to the management and staff.
Touring Facilities - All facilities very spacious with especially large shower cubicles. Very good provision of family shower & bath rooms.
Entertainment Rooms - All the main entertainment rooms were well maintained and very much as seen on last years visit.
Licensed Areas - Very Good
Restaurant / Food Outlets - Very Good, Wimpy, Sarah's Pantry, Alan's T/A were all open, clean and very well presented with no major changes noted since the last report.
Recreation and Play Areas - Play areas, arcade, bowling and Brean Leisure Fun Park were all maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness with very little litter found. All rides, play equipment and arcade games well maintained and in very good order.
Center Facilities - Excellent range of lighting throughout the complex.  Very good supply of refuse and re-cycling bins. Some well screened in purpose built compounds,
