Four Stars Awarded IN 2010

Summary

Under the VisitBritain Quality Assurance Standards for Holiday Villages, Holiday Resort Unity achieves a FOUR star rating.  At the time of this years assessment, this very large Holiday Village again displayed the highest  standards of cleanliness in all areas. The housekeeping team working on the accommodation and the grounds litter collection team should be particularly commended.  The Park continues to show improvements year on year and this years work has resulted in a consolidation of the marking in the existing FOUR star grade.

Reception - Check in was handled in a very friendly and efficient manner by Emily who fully explained the information in the welcome pack and the use of the security passes. She directed me to the caravan with the use of a site plan and offered further help if required. Emily had a ready smile and pleasant manner which would certainly create a very good first impression. 

Shops / Salons - Excellent layout in Cost cutter Store,

Atmosphere and Ambience - Overall cleanliness standards were very good 

Touring Facilities - Very encouraging to see the ongoing improvements on the touring fields with family rooms now being provided on Yellow field as well as the other areas. Upgrading of the electric points in various sections was also noted. Overall cleanliness and maintenance standards in the amenity blocks was very good.

Entertainment Rooms - Entertainment staff inter reacted well with the guests with the evening program running to time and as advertised.

Restaurant / Food Outlets - Tavern - Very friendly service, food order taken and drinks served promptly, RJ's -  Prompt and pleasant service for both food and drink. Treasure Brean. - The refurbished Chinese T/A & Fish & Chip outlet was very well presented with good public space and effective lighting.

Recreation and Play Areas - Arcades & fairground rides all in very good order.
The outdoor play area was very well maintained with fresh painted equipment and well tended
grounds.

Center Facilities - Excellent range of lighting throughout the complex.  Very good supply of refuse and re-cycling bins. Some well screened in purpose built compounds,
