Brean Splash Official Opening

Brean splash waterpark was officially opened on 19th August by MP and Minister for tourism John Penrose along Romana Winstone who recently won 5 medals at the World Transplant Games in swimming. 

The opening saw the unveiling of a plaque at the park in the presence of the House family, owners of Holiday Resort Unity and the cutting of a ribbon to officially open the complex.

The opening also signals the opening of phase 2 of our splash waterpark an outside water play area with 3 watersides and tipping buckets aimed towards under 12,s.  This brings the total investment to £1.8m pounds

Holiday Resort Unity Holiday guests can use the facility at a discounted rate of over half the public admission price. Session length is guaranteed for 3 hours for the main sessions and locker hire and all watersides including the river ride are included in the admission fee.

Phase 1 our new indoor complex opened just before Whitsun and features a 6 lane 25m pool indoor splash park and new changing rooms including family changing rooms. Our new cafe proudly serving starbucks coffee and pool shop have proved very popular stocking well known brands such as zoggs.

Coming soon we are hoping to join in the craze of zumba aerobics by adding the aqua version during September

Richard House Managing Director comments, ‘We are pleased with the opening and operation of the new facility which has greatly improved our swimming offering and facilities on the Resort. We are intending on developing the facility further to make it then South West's best waterpark over the next 2-5 years’.

Future phases of our pool project include the enclosure of some parts of the outdoor complex and renovation of our old indoor complex over the next 5 years.

Swimming lessons are available at any time on a one to one basis and can be booked at the pool reception. Our full 12 week after school swim program starts early September.

If you are visiting for half term then why not take part in our crash swimming course for 5-15 year olds with daily lessons Tuesday - Friday mornings between.    October 24^th to 28^th at a cost of £20 per person.

Our indoor pool will also be open this year for guests staying with us for our New Years Break which we are now taking bookings for our family celebration in RJs and our Country and Western celebration in the Tavern.
