Work is progressing well on our new splash waterpark due to open at the end of March 2011.

Under the VisitEngland Quality Assurance Scheme for Holiday Villages, Holiday Resort Unity achieves a FOUR star rating. This family owned and very well run Holiday Village continues to show year on year improvements and now presents really very well indeed. The scoring remains at the lower end of the 4 star scale, but with such a large operation, it is always going to be a challenge to improve
this substantially. However with the new swimming pool complex due to open in 2011 and the alterations to the entrance, there is every opportunity for the position to be consolidated at the time of the next report. The quality of the accommodation is of particular note and the presentation of the privately owned static caravans has improved to the position when it is now difficult to identify any which are in
need of significant improvement.

Holiday Resort Unity, Brean Sands, Somerset have teamed up with Burnham on sea police to promote a scheme to deal with guests who display anti social or unacceptable behaviour whilst on holiday. Unity is piloting the scheme called “Sitewatch” over the 2010 Summer period with a view to rolling out to our holiday districts thoughout the country next year.
