We also have a large, enclosed outdoor play area with a pump track, ten pin bowling and amusement arcade, and Sunshine Farm which is home to pigs, goats, chickens, and a miniature pony.

All major sporting events are shown on the big screen, and we regularly host Superstars of Wrestling at The Tavern.

There is a daily activity programme for children from 2 to teens throughout the school holidays, from Teddy Bear’s Picnic to NERF Wars, Lego workshops, science shows, magic, circus skills, sports, inflatables, and games.

There are many great places of interest in this part of Somerset and places some amazing places to visit near Brean Close to Junction 22 of the M5, we are not just easy to find, we lend ourselves as a great base for exploring.  Whether it’s one of the well-known Somerset towns or villages such as Cheddar and Glastonbury, but also further afield to the cities of Bristol and Bath too.

Further down the Somerset Coast you can visit the quaint harbours of Porlock, Blue Anchor and Watchet, the medieval village of Dunster set beneath the stunning castle, or the busy seaside resort of Minehead. If you want to explore closer to home, there are many things to do on the doorstep in Brean, Discover Brean.

5. The Great Outdoors

If you enjoy the outdoors, then a holiday with us is certainly for you.  Often perceived as being busy and bustled, on our doorstep we have seven miles of golden sands, the National Trust site of Brean Down, and a variety of cycle routes and walks.  As of 2018 we are now connected to the South West Coast Path, via the new stretch of the England Coast Path popular with both walkers and cyclists.

6. The traditional Bucket & Spade Holiday

Literally across the road you will find the beaches of Berrow and Brean, offering flat sandy beaches ideal for making sandcastles, playing beach games, BBQs and water sports. Just a 5 minute drive south you will find Burnham-on-Sea beach and pier, and 10 minutes to the north the popular seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, so there is plenty of choice for a holiday at the seaside.  A costal open top bus services runs between the resorts throughout the day and picks up just outside the holiday park entrance.

7. Pets Welcome

Holiday Resort Unity is a pet-friendly award-winning holiday park. Dogs are welcome on all of our camping fields (apart from a section of Yellow Field) and in our selection of pet-friendly hired accommodation, so you don’t ever have to worry about leaving these important family members behind!  Over at Brean Leisure Park, we have a dog-friendly cafe, COAST, which not only caters for humans, but also has a three-course dog menu, and serves doggy beer and pawsecco!

Across the resort we have multiple food and drink outlets from branded favourites such as Subway and Costa Coffee, to Indian, Chinese and traditional Fish & Chip takeaways and restaurants.  Our entertainment venues, RJ’s on site for guests only, and The Tavern & the Bucket & Spade at Brean Leisure Park serve a traditional English pub-style menu daily, with the Tavern also serving traditional Sunday carvery.

For those of you that enjoy fishing, we have a well-stocked on-site fishing lake which is free to use whilst you are staying with us.  This is a really popular attraction and also attracts a great deal of wildlife, including resident families of ducks and Canada Geese.

2018 saw great success for Brean’s Holiday Resort Unity and our commitment to wildlife and conservation, from appearing on Hugh’s Wild West in the spring to opening the Secret Wood in partnership with Secret World Wildlife Rescue so animals can be safely released back into the wild. We have also been awarded the “5in5” badge for our wildlife friendly hedgerows, and the accolade as a “Honey Bee Friendly” park and will soon be producing our own honey!

We’re a haven for wildlife and will be running various events throughout the summer holidays which include wild walks, birds of prey demonstrations, mini forest schools and night vision experiences.
