Many of you may know that Sooty has been a very regular visitor here at Unity for some years now, and The Sooty Show is filmed at neighbouring Brean Leisure Park, as well as scenes set across the resort facilities.
Sooty and his sidekicks Sweep the Dog and Soo the Panda have been entertaining children for generations, with his very first appearance back in the early 1950’s, though he was originally created in 1948 by Harry Corbett! Well known for his magic wand and the magic phrase “Izzy wizzy let’s get busy”, he has appeared throughout the years on primetime children’s TV shows and welcomed many celebrity guests too.
Now, throughout the main season at Brean Leisure Park, you can see performances of the Sooty Show live, as well as attend meet and greet sessions.
So popular is the little yellow bear, that new for this season we have three, bespoke static holiday caravans on Red Field, that have been branded and accessorised with Sooty soft furnishings and graphics, so you can stay in your very own Sooty Rockstar Retreat!
These brand new 2019 model holiday homes are double glazed and centrally heated, with modern, luxurious facilities. Bed linen is supplied, and beds made up ready for your arrival so you can get straight on with enjoying your holiday! Each holiday home has two bedrooms – a double room and a twin room and sleep four. Check in is from 2pm.
