Touring Family

First things first…

What to bring

Included in your holiday home you’ll find all the cookware and serve ware you’ll need to make and enjoy meals with your loved ones.

You’ll need to bring with you anything you want to cook or clean with, which includes: tea, coffee, milk, salt & pepper, cooking oil, washing up liquid / sponges, tea towels, toothpaste and toiletries.

We do have a handy supermarket on site though, so if you’ve got enough to worry about with packing all your non-grocery items, you can just pick everything up after you arrive.

Towels are only included in lodge accommodation.

Don’t forget!

You’ll want to make the most of your free daily entry to Brean Splash (if you have Privilege Passes), so swimsuits and extra towels are an absolute must!

Many guests like to get glammed out for our big evenings of entertainment, so if you like, bring your glad rags and your dancing shoes.

Travelling with little ones

Highchairs & travel cots

You can bring these with you – or hire them. Call the hire shop to book ahead and to check opening times on 01278 751480.

Eating out

All our restaurants are welcome children and have highchairs and dedicated children’s menus.

Baby changing

You’ll find plenty of baby changing facilities around the park and nappies are available at our supermarket.

So now you know what to bring...

How to get here

Child Sat On Car

By car

Simply put TA8 2RB into your sat nav or maps.

It’s Junction 22 off the M5 and then a 4-mile journey through Burnham-On-Sea, Berrow and on to Brean.

Family On A Train

By train

Our nearest station is Highbridge and Burnham, about 6 miles away. From here you can take a taxi, or a bus that drops you right outside the holiday park. We recommend the ‘Rome to Rio’ website for planning your connections.

Family On A Bus

By bus

Bus service no. 20 operated by First Bus runs between Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea, stopping in Brean near the resort. They run approximately every 2 hours, so be sure to check timetables in advance.

Arriving

Check in time

Please refer to your booking confirmation email for details.

Early birds

Even if your accommodation isn’t ready yet, you’re welcome to arrive on resort anytime from 8am, and start making the most of our fab facilities! Head to Reception, grab your Privilege Passes and head out for a swim at Brean Splash or a soft play session at Brean Play.

We have very limited storage so request you keep your luggage in the car until your accommodation is ready. You’ll just need to pop back to reception to collect your keys at your specific check-in time.

Fashionably late

Our reception hours change seasonally but you can arrive up until midnight and a friendly face will be here to check you in. If you’re arriving after 8pm, please let us know ahead of time. And please be considerate of your fellow guests when arriving as it may be past their bedtime!

Mobility and getting about

We have an on-site hire where you can hire wheelchairs and mobility scooters as well as all kinds of bikes and karts. Our on-site minibus and land train are also very hand for getting around the park – please note that accommodation in Golden Sands is about ¾ mile from the main facilities.

Wifi

You can enjoy free WiFi in our venues and in Brean Play. We offer 30 minutes of free WiFi in your accommodation daily. If you’d like more than this, you can pay as you go or purchase daily/weekly passes – whatever suits you best!

Smoking/vaping policy

Smoking/vaping is not permitted in any of our facilities or accommodation. Please dispose of cigarette materials in the correctly marked bins.

Dogs

We are a pet friendly park and dogs are welcome. (Make sure you’ve selected dog-friendly accommodation for your booking - if not, please let us know). Dogs are welcome at Coast Café on the leisure park and we have a dedicated dog walk. Dogs are allowed on Berrow and Brean beach all year round. Please stay on the hard sand.

LEAVING

Checking out

You’ll need to check-out of your accommodation by 10am. However, if you don’t fancy leaving straight away, you’re welcome to stay and make the most of the resort for the rest of the day – you’ll just need to relocate your car to one of our central car parks please.

Coming Back

We’d love to welcome you back again and we hope you’ll want to come back too! Come and see the team on reception before you leave to book your next break and we’ll work out a great deal for you.
