Recently, here at Holiday Resort Unity in Brean, we were pleased to play host to channel 5 film crew who were making a programme called...

Happy Campers – Brits on Holiday

The programme takes a behind the scenes, access all areas look at the running of a busy Brean Holiday Park and just what goes into creating the family entertainment that customers enjoy so much.  As well as spending a day in Reservations, the film crew met up with our resort famous “Chunkie” to learn about what it takes to keep providing top-class family entertainment.

The program is particularly relevant since the big shift towards ‘staycations’ this year.  As the new programme will show Holiday Resort Unity has always been popular among Brits on Holiday and has more than its own fair share of happy campers.

The programme is due to air on March 14th at 8pm on Channel 5.

If you would like you own family of happy campers to enjoy a traditional ‘bucket & spade’ holiday, literally across the road you will find the flat sandy beaches of Berrow and Brean, ideal for making sandcastles, playing beach games, BBQs, and water sports.  Burnham-on-Sea, with its beach and pier is just a 5-mile drive away, and Weston-Super-Mare, so popular with Brits on holiday with all its attractions, is just along the coast.

We have also been awarded the “5in5” badge for our wildlife friendly hedgerows, and the accolade as a “Honey Bee Friendly” park and will soon be producing our own honey!
