This year, sustainability has been at the forefront of our business operations across all of our excellent facilities. We are super proud that Brean Play is a finalist in the National Indoor Play Association Awards for 2024 in the Sustainability Category. Brean Golf Club has recently joined the movement to make a meaningful contribution to sustainability through golf as part of the Geo Foundation.
This Business Champion award reflects hard work and change across the resort where we have introduced a number of environmentally-friendly alternatives. This includes our reusable cups which guests can fill up in our cafés whilst getting a discount on their drink. Single use cleaning wipes have been replaced with a microfibre alternative that can be used multiple times to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness across our facilities. Brean Splash have replaced single-use swim nappies with reliable, reusable alternatives.
We are delighted to receive recognition for our sustainability efforts and we aspire to be trailblazers in our sector. As an organisation we are committed to raising awareness on plastic pollution and are determined to continuing making positive changes whilst encouraging guests and employees to care for the environment too!
