We’re delighted to share that Brean has recently been highlighted in some fantastic travel blogs! It’s wonderful to see Brean Play, Brean Splash, Brean Theme Park, and Brean Country Club receiving such positive mentions.
Mark Bibby Jackson from Travel Begins At 40 recently visited Brean in Somerset to experience a traditional British holiday. He noted that while many UK holidaymakers pass through the county of Glastonbury, famous for its cider and Cheddar, they might want to consider staying in Brean as well. As a family-owned business, Holiday Resort Unity and Brean Leisure Park offer fantastic family holidays, fun days out, and excellent dining options. Mark Bibby Jackson even remarked, “Apparently, the Country Club’s Sunday roast is to die for.”
We were thrilled to be recognised for our efforts to support local businesses. The Taste of Somerset event, held this June, highlighted Rich’s Cider, which boasts a small cider museum, restaurant, and shop in Highbridge, Somerset.

In the latest blog posts, Abi King from Inside The Travel Lab praised Brean Play for being an excellent indoor play centre, perfect for children up to 11 years old. With climbing frames, slides, and soft play areas, it's an ideal spot for kids to have fun and burn off energy, especially on rainy days. The on-site café is a great place for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their little ones. Local residents can even apply for a free resident pass, which gives an extra 5% off food and drink at Brean Play and Brean Splash cafes and allows them to reclaim parking fees.
Brean Splash also received high praise for its waterpark facilities, including outdoor and indoor pools, thrilling water slides, and splash zones.
Brean Theme Park was highlighted for its exciting range of rides. From outdoor roller coasters to go-karts and gentle riverboat rides, it’s a fantastic destination for thrill-seekers and families alike.
Brean Country Club also got a well-deserved mention. Mark Bibby Jackson noted the impressive upmarket lodges and the rave reviews about the Sunday roasts. Abi from Inside The Travel Lab even pictured herself in a Bridgerton scene while enjoying our famous afternoon tea at The View Kitchen & Bar.
